CAPN12, THE MOLECULAR MARKER FOR DIAGNOSING AND CURING HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA AND A KIT, INCLUDING THE MARKER

PURPOSE: A composition containing an agent measuring CAPN12(calpain 12) expression level for diagnosing and treating liver cancer is provided to improve survival rate for a patient with liver cancer and to predict prognosis of the patient. CONSTITUTION: A composition for detecting a marker for diagnosing liver cancer contains an agent measuring CAPN12 gene mRNA or protein level. The agent measuring mRNA level is a primer pair or probe which specifically binds to CAPN12 gene. The agent measuring protein level is an antibody for CAPN12 protein. A kit for diagnosing liver contains the composition for detecting the marker.
