Disclosed is a method for the preparation of a solid dosage form of desmopressin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, comprising granulating desmopressin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and at least one excipient, carrier or diluent or mixture thereof in a fluid bed granulation apparatus, wherein the resulting desmopressin containing granulate is suitable for compression to a phannaceutically acceptable tablet, wherein the preparation of said granulate comprises adjusting fluidising air flow and processing temperature and time.
