摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly lay an occupant restraint surface in a vehicle width direction in deployment of an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: When the airbag 16 abuts on a front windshield 36 inclined relative to a vehicle width direction in a process where the airbag 16 is deployed, the airbag 16 is deployed in a direction inclined relative to a longitudinal direction (direction perpendicular to front windshield 36) and the occupant restraint surface 35 is inclined relative to the vehicle width direction. However, since out of first and second side part deployment surfaces 31, 32 of the airbag 16, the first side part deployment surface 31 abutted on an inner portion in a vehicle width direction of the front windshield 36 and deployed to a rear side of a vehicle body is formed longer than the second side part deployment surface 32b abutted on an outer portion in a vehicle width direction of the front windshield 36 and deployed to a rear side of the vehicle body (L1>L2), the occupant restraint surface 35 is laid in a vehicle width direction and an occupant can be certainly restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
