<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundancy control device for specifying the location of a fault when any failure occurs in diagnostic communication between redundant controllers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the redundancy control device, a first controller and a second controller communicate with each other through a serial bus, and communicate with a host device through a communication bus. Each controller is provided with: a transceiver for transmitting a diagnostic frame from one controller to the other controller; and a receiver for receiving the diagnostic frame transmitted from the other controller. The first controller and the second controller are each provided with: a feedback check means of the transmission data of the one transceiver; and an error detection means for detecting single-bit error or multi-bit error for the data received from the other side.
