<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cooling equipment for an internal combustion engine wherein heat of cooling water is appropriately utilized in a heat-utilizing section other than that of the internal combustion engine where while restraining reduction in fuel-economy, before completion of engine warm-up, heat of the cooling water flowing out of the water-jacket on the cylinder-head side is utilized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a cooling channel 1 of the cooling equipment for the internal combustion engine, cooling-water flowing out of the water jacket 11a on the head side is passed through a water jacket 10a and a heater core 15 on the block side, and then returned to the water jacket 11a on the head side. An electronic control unit 50 controls so that: if before completion of engine warm-up, a demand for heating is made in a heater core 15, then a three-way valve 18 is controlled to a first state, simultaneously, a flow-control valve 19 is controlled in a fully closed state; thus, all of the cooling-water flowing out of the head-side water jacket 11a is controlled so as to bypass the water jacket 10a on the block side through a bypass channel 4.
