<p>A method for searching multimedia broadcast TV program information is disclosed in the present invention, and includes that: a user searches the TV program information in a mobile terminal; the mobile terminal acquires the present electronic service guide from the broadcast network side; the mobile terminal searches the program information from the electronic service guide, displays the search result and realizes the automatic search of the TV program information. A device for searching multimedia broadcast TV program information is also disclosed in the present invention, and includes an input module, a search module and a display module; wherein the input module is used for receiving the search contents input by a user, and transmitting the search contents to the search module; the search module is used for acquiring the present electronic service guide from the broadcast network side, searching the program information from the electronic service guide according to the search contents; and the display module displays the search result. By the present invention, the efficiency of the program search can be effectively improved, a mobile terminal can have the function for automatically searching multimedia broadcast TV program, and the information which the user wants can be high-efficiently and accurately supplied to the user.</p> |
