摘要 The present invention relates to a reinforced matrix impregnated with electrolytes for a molten carbonate fuel cell and a fabrication method thereof. The matrix comprising electrolytes, metals, and oxides is manufactured by pre-mixing the electrolytes required per unit cell for a molten carbonate fuel cell with the reinforcing particles including metals and oxides in slurry to prepare a matrix, and then performing a tape casting process. The invention enables convenient stack work and a simple production process, and can suppress the cracks caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficients of an electrolyte sheet and matrix. Additionally, the invention can improve the performance and lifetime of a fuel cell by relieving thermal impact occurring during stack operation.
