<p>An external serial advanced technology attachment (eSATA) connector (300), a socket (400) and a memory device (1000) with low thickness comprise a connector body, on which a bearing part (310) is disposed. A circuit connected with a power supply and a circuit conforming to eSATA interface connector protocol for transmitting data are arranged at the surface of the bearing part (310). Because the bearing part is disposed on the connector, the metal jacket on the upper and the lower surfaces outside the eSATA connector and latches projecting from the left and the right sides of the eSATA connector are removed, which result in volume reducing of the eSATA.</p> |
