<p>A method for providing an offer from a merchant to a user in a network environment connecting a user terminal provided with a web browser operated by the user, a content server, and a merchant server. According to this design, a user interacting with a web page in a web browser may identify an active hyperlink, move a user controllable marker over the hyperlink after which an additional window is superimposed onto the initial web page. In the superimposed window an offer from a merchant is downloaded and displayed, and the user is allowed to listen to sample clips as well as directly purchase content. The present invention also relates to a corresponding system, and to a computer program product comprising code for performing a corresponding method.</p> |
