PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an electronic apparatus capable of appropriately notifying communication states and their switching. SOLUTION: When content data is transmitted to an external device from a near field radio communication device 20 provided in the electronic apparatus 10, a content information acquisition section 112 acquires content information on the content data. Also, a transmission time calculation section 115 calculates transmission time from the data size of the content data and a transmission rate in communication to the external device acquired from a database 201. An audio output control section 116 and a light output control section 117 control audio output from a speaker 17 and lighting and blinking of an LED in an indicator 18, based on the content information and the transmission time. A communication state notification section 118 notifies a user of communication state switching in content data transmission under control of the audio and light output control sections 116, 117.
