PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill processing apparatus reducing loads of a driving mechanism, and to provide a money processor with the bill processing apparatus. SOLUTION: In the bill processing apparatus, a conveyance belt 25 arranged facing the main surface of bill BN1, and extended to a predetermined conveyance direction travels to the conveyance direction, and the bill BN1 whose main surface is depressed after being moved by a depression means is conveyed to the conveyance direction, and a separation roller 26 arranged so as to be depressed to the extended conveyance face of the conveyance belt 25 turns against the conveyance direction, and the back face of the bill BN1 to be conveyed by the traveling conveyance belt 25 is rubbed on the conveyance face depressed and bent, to separate the bill BN1.
