<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of the swing of a support for a handrail or poor fixing by firmly supporting a lower end of the support on a bracket. <P>SOLUTION: A turning spacer 2 is turnably arranged between a pair of rising walls 11 of the bracket 1; a lower end of the hollow support 3 is inserted into the turning spacer 2; a pair of inverted T-shaped cross-section hollow reinforcing members 4 is fitted into the hollow portion of the support 3; an inverted T-shaped cross-section nut 5 having a protrusion 52 with an internal thread 53 is inserted into the hollow portion; a tightening bolt 6 is screwed to the internal thread 53 of each of the nuts 5 via these through-holes from each of the rising walls of the bracket 1; and they are integrally tightened in such a manner as to be pulled nearer in an opposite direction. The performance of the opposite-direction tightening enables the support 3 to be firmly fixed to the bracket 1 so that the nuts 5 can each pull the support 3 nearer to the side of the rising wall 11 via the hollow reinforcing member 4, and enables the horizontal load resistance of the handrail A to be secured at a high level by making the hollow reinforcing member 4 effectively and internally reinforce the support 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
