PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp tube which has high efficiency of light emission and long field life without preparing a special voltage-boosting device to a connection device or the like. SOLUTION: The lamp tube 3 includes a hollow tube body 4 internally having a plane where light can be transmitted, two conductive units 5 respectively mounted on both ends of the tube body, an inverter 6 assembled on at least one of the conductive units, and a plurality of cold-cathode light-emitting bodies 7 extending in a longitudinal direction of the tube body and electrically connected between the other conductive unit and the inverter and emitting light by being started with the inverter.
