PURPOSE: A headrest folding apparatus is provided to prevent a head rest from being polluted by separating the head rest from the back plate of the front and from the floor panel of a vehicle by moving the frame of the head rest along a guide groove. CONSTITUTION: A headrest folding apparatus comprises a frame(110), a housing(130), a first torsion spring(170), a first rotating member(190), and a second rotating member(210). The frame supports a headrest(100). The frame is installed on the housing. A guide(150) is installed on the outer surface of the lateral plate(131) of the housing. The first torsion spring is installed on the same line with a guide and is installed on the inner surface of the lateral plate of the housing. The first rotating member is separated from/coupled to the frame to fix the frame. The second rotating member rotates the first rotating member by the manipulation of user in the state it engages with the first rotating member. |
