PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out movement regulation of an end member toward inserting and removing directions, and the movement regulation toward the direction perpendicular to the ceiling which is the direction intersecting with this direction. SOLUTION: The illumination fixture is provided with: a fluorescent lamp 12 to constitute a light source; a lighting circuit in order to light the fluorescent lamp 12; a cabinet having side plates to constitute two opposing sides; end members 20 in order to cover apertures formed at both ends of the two sides in the cabinet; first engaging means (25, 34) formed in respective corresponding positions of the side plates 30 and the end members 20 for fixing so that movements of the end members toward inserting and removing directions are regulated; second engaging means (26, 35) formed in the respective corresponding positions of the side plates and the end members different from the first engaging means for fixing so that the movements of the end members toward the direction intersecting with the inserting and removing directions are regulated.
