<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch screen panel and a method for manufacturing the same, allowing prevention of damage to a sensing pattern. <P>SOLUTION: This touch screen panel includes: a transparent substrate; a lot of first sensing patterns formed over the transparent substrate, and formed such that they are connected along a first direction; second sensing patterns formed between the first sensing patterns such that they each have a separated pattern; a first insulating film formed on the first and second sensing patterns, and formed with a lot of contact holes each exposing one area of the second sensing pattern; and connection patterns formed on the first insulating film, connecting the second sensing patterns along a second direction through the contact holes.
