PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicidal composition sufficiently reducing phytotoxicity imparted by a herbicide. SOLUTION: The herbicidal composition has reduced phytotoxicity, and includes: (a) the herbicide; and (b) a substance exhibiting phytotoxicity-reducing actions. Furthermore, the substance exhibiting the phytotoxicity-reducing actions is at least one selected from among specific compounds such as isopropylbenzyl alcohol, isopropylbenzylamine, p-cumic acid, isopropylaniline, cumene hydroperoxide, trimethylbenzyl alcohol, diisopropylaniline, triisopropylbenzoic acid, menthol, and p-menthane.
