PURPOSE: A refrigerator equipped with a food waste processing apparatus is provided to shatter and dry food waste by installing a food waste processing apparatus in a main body of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator(1000) comprises: a refrigerator body(1) wherein a storage room and a machine room are formed in the refrigerator body; a compressor(10), a condenser(20), and a ventilation fan(4) which are installed in the machine room; and a food waste treatment apparatus(100) which shatters and dries spoiled food with being installed in the machine room to communicate with the storage room and comprises a pulverizing device(110) shattering food, a reservoir(120) storing shattered food with being installed in the bottom of the pulverizing device, and a drive motor driving the pulverizing device.
