<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate practical application of lighting equipment, using a light-emitting diode that ensures uniform irradiation performance and prescribed brightness performance in the whole lighting equipment, particularly, suitable lighting equipment resembling a fluorescent tube. <P>SOLUTION: Lighting equipment 1 has ferrules 2a, 2b attached/detached to/from sockets to which at least a fluorescent tube is mounted. The lighting equipment includes: a transparent or translucent envelope 3; the ferrules 2a, 2b attached to the envelope 3; each light-emitting part 7 which is stored inside the envelope 3 and in which one or two or more light-emitting units 4 where light-emitting diodes 6p and 6q face each other, are arrayed at one end or both ends of an optical fiber 5 having a prescribed length; and each power-supply circuit 8 that imparts primary power supply Pf, inputted to each ferrule 2a, 2b, directly or by converting the primary power supply into secondary power supply Ps to each light-emitting diodes 6p and 6q. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
