<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine equipped with a game controller and a discharge controller which enable the accurate restarting of a processing at the return moment of power even when it is halted in case of the outbreak of power failure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A signal outputting means turns a resetting signal active after outputting a power failure detection signal when the power failure is determined to occur and furthermore, turns the resetting signal inactive at the return moment of power after keeping it active for a fixed period of time. A control means for games and a control means for discharge get a power failure flag showing the occurrence of power failure held by an information holding means for games and an information holding means for discharge according to the power failure detection signal and are put on standby and then, locked under suspension in terms of hardware by the resetting signal until the power source is shut down completely. The power failure detection signal is outputted simultaneously both to the control means for games and the control means for discharge, and the resetting signal which is turned active after the outputting of the power failure detection signal is changed so simultaneously with respect to both the control means for games and the control means for discharge.
