ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane which contains inorganic proton conductive material having proton conductivity under a high temperature condition, and improves mechanical characteristics and stability in a water existing environment.

SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane (1) for a fuel cell includes a polymer film (2) having a plurality of through holes (4) passing through in a thickness direction (3) with a hole diameter 10-500 nm and having a porosity of 30% or lower, and an inorganic electrolyte material (5) filled in the through holes (4). A method for improving a filling rate in the through holes (4) of the inorganic electrolyte material (5) of the electrolyte membrane (1) for the fuel cell is provided.
