<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of properly inspecting whether an image display device is good or not, and to provide an inspection method of the image display device, an inspection program and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection device 1 for inspecting an image display device 9 which is provided with pixels for right eye and pixels for a left eye and displays an image capable of being stereoscopically viewed by parallax, includes: a display control portion (operation control portion) 31 which displays an image for right eye and an image for left eye, which are different in color, on the pixels for right eye and the pixels for left eye respectively; and a color tone acquisition portion 32 which acquires a color tone of one of the image for right eye and the image for left eye in a position where the one image can be recognized.
