PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of restraining a problem of defective recording generated sometimes when a plurality of different compositions of ink is mounted. SOLUTION: This recorder includes a recording means for carrying out recording by a set of four kinds or more of ink different one another in molar fractions N(%) of water, and caps serving as one part of a restoration mechanism of the recorder and for covering a plurality of delivery port lines corresponding to the respective kinds of ink, the respective caps are structured to cover respectively areas with a delivery port line group divided into two or more, and have a means for sucking the ink from the recording means only via the respective caps, the relation of N<SB>ave</SB>>NC<SB>ave</SB>[num] is satisfied in combination of the ink kinds corresponding to the respective caps, where N<SB>ave</SB>represents an average value of N of all the kinds of set ink, and NC<SB>ave</SB>[num] represents an average value of N in the combination of the ink kinds corresponding to the cap including the ink having the highest molar fraction of water constituting the set, and a route is provided to communicate one another respective insides of the plurality of caps.
