<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for holding a bobbin of a fiber bundle arranging apparatus, which shortens the exchange time of bobbins and increases an operating rate of the fiber bundle arranging unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device 11 for holding a bobbin includes a supporting shaft 15 for integrally rotatably supporting a bobbin B while passing through the bobbin B and is integrally rotatably furnished with a gear 16 at a first end of the supporting shaft 15. The bobbin B is supported through a first bobbin receiving member and a second bobbin receiving member on the supporting shaft 15. The supporting shaft 15 is equipped with bearings 20 and 21 in a manner to hold the bobbin B between the bearings. The supporting shaft 15 is supported on support brackets 13 and 14 having support portions 13a and 14a opened so as to mount the bearings 20 and 21 from above in a horizontally extended state of the supporting shaft 15 at locations at which the bearings 20 and 21 are arranged.
