摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and excellently suppress fat proton signals within the limit of an SAR and to improve contrast between lesion tissue and peripheral tissue in an MRI apparatus. SOLUTION: A binominal IR pulse method for inverting the vertical magnetization of fat proton for 180 degrees is used. In the binominal IR pulse method, by using binominal pulses as inversion recovery (IR) pulses when imaging a subject by the MRI apparatus, the vertical magnetization of nuclide having a certain resonance frequency is kept in a static magnetic field direction, and the vertical magnetization of nuclide having another resonance frequency is inverted in a direction opposite to the static magnetic field.
