JOINT FOR DOUBLE DOOR PROFILES

The invention relates to the field of manufacturing doors from extruded metal profiles. The invention provides for noise reduction inside an enclosed area. The joint for double door profiles comprises interconnected heat insulating inserts (1), a hollow front profile (2) with a cantilevered flange (3) that bears a seal, and a hollow rear profile (4), said front and rear profiles having a box-like cross section and making up a frame. The hollow rear profile (4) is provided with a step and a pair of flanges (6) on the face thereof that is oriented towards the door leaf. A first sound insulating plug (7) is secured in the cavity between the flanges (6). The profiles (8) and (9) which make up the frame of the door leaf have longitudinal dovetail grooves (11) that are oriented towards one another and accommodate the projections of a heat insulating element (12) by which they are joined. The element (12) is made from a polymer material with a compensating loop (13) that faces inside the cavity of the door leaf, while a locking device (14) is arranged on the other side of the element. A second sound insulating plug (17) is also secured in a cavity between flanges (16) so that it is symmetrical with the first sound insulating plug.
