<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory for press-fitting operation, with which clogging is hardly generated upon press-fitting to a cylindrical cloth bag having gas-liquid permeability, and in which the denseness of the obtained refractory structure is hardly damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory for press-fitting operation is obtained by adding operation water to a blend comprising: refractory powder, provided that the average interfiber distance in a cloth bag is defined as X μm, in which the powder subjected to spheroidizing treatment with the average particle diameter X+50 μm or above occupies 40 to 90 mass%, and the balance powder in which the average particle diameter is smaller than that of the powder subjected to the spheroidizing treatment; pulp in an amount of ≥0.01 mass% in external multiplication to the refractory powder; and a thickener in an amount of ≥0.03 mass% in external multiplication to the refractory powder, and kneading the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
