PURPOSE: A curve grinding device and method using magneto-rheological fluid are provided to form a curved surface on a work piece regardless of the length and material of the work piece. CONSTITUTION: A grinder(1) for grinding a curved surface on a work piece comprises a cylindrical grinder body(10) and a housing(30). The grinder body is made of a magnet and rotates around a central axis. The housing accommodates the grinder body inside. A curved surface(31) receiving magneto-rheological fluid(40) is formed on the exterior of the housing.
