DAMPER ASSEMBLY, VACUUM CLEANER HAVING THE SAME AND MOTOR-PROTECTION AND DUST DUMPING PERIOD-ALARMING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A damper assembly, a vacuum cleaner including the same, and an alarming method for protecting a motor and the time to empty dust are provided to audibly inform the time to empty dust or visually display letter, light and image if the negative pressure of a dust collecting chamber is increased. CONSTITUTION: A damper assembly(50) comprises a casing(52) which includes an air inlet(54), a damper body(56) which includes an air outlet(66), a piston member(60) which moves in a damper body inside between a first location and a second position and is carried with the change of the inner air pressure of the damper body to the second position, an elastic member(68) which elastically pressurizes the piston member to the first location, and a detection sensor(80) which generates an electric signal when the piston member moves to the second position. The piston member shields the interval between the air inlet and the air outlet in the first location and interlinks the air inlet and the air outlet in the second location.
