FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: there is claimed application of theophylline and steroid for manufacturing composition for treatment of chronic obstructive lung disease (COLD), where theophylline is introduced in dose, which achieves in plasma levels lower than 5 mg/l (i.e. introduce orally in dose 3 mg/kg or less) and steroid dose lower than 0.5 mg/kg, as well as corresponding method of treatment, pharmaceutical composition in standard medicinal form and set of the same purpose. ^ EFFECT: there is demonstrated synergism of said combination action in doses which separately are not efficient for COLD treatment, concentrations in plasma being lower than those which are usually associated with anti-inflammatory activity. ^ 16 cl, 7 dwg, 2 tbl |
