FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to methods to increase adhesion between rolling stock wheels with rails. Proposed method consists in heating of surface greasing of wheels and rails. Said surface greasing is subjected to HF electromagnetic field, its energy being directed to friction surfaces of the wheels and rails. Power of HF electromagnetic field radiation is determined subject to initial coefficient of friction, initial temperature and moisture content in friction zone and rolling stock speed. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency and reduced wear. ^ 2 dwg
