FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for filtration. Filter element is arranged in the form of regular folded structure, its filtering surface is formed by facets of zigzag corrugations, which look like identical diamond-shaped polygons. Filtering element in longitudinal direction on the side of extreme zigzag lines of indents comprises tips, and at the ends of filter element there are flat flange sections made of pairwise joined facets of corrugations for fixation of filtering element along perimeter of filter body.
