STEERING COLUMN FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A steering column of a vehicle is provided to enhance the quality and the assembling performance of a steering column by increasing the stiffness of the steering column and improving the tilting operability. CONSTITUTION: A steering column of a vehicle comprises a distance bracket(210), a plate bracket(250), a mounting bracket(220), and a tilt bolt(240). The distance bracket is coupled to the outer circumference of an outer tube(205). The plate bracket is coupled to both sides of the outside of the distance bracket. The mounting bracket is coupled to the plate bracket to fix the steering column to the vehicle body. The tilt bolt passes through the distance bracket and the plate bracket. An elongated hole(253) is formed on the tilt bolt mounting surfaces of the plate bracket. The side of the steering direction is opened to be connected to the outer tube and the other sides are connected to be formed in a closed shape.
