PURPOSE: A magnesium recycling apparatus for reducing sludge and dross is provided to reduce the generation rate of sludge and dross by maintaining the cleanness of molten magnesium and to improve the quality of ingot which is able to be reused. CONSTITUTION: A magnesium recycling apparatus for reducing sludge and dross comprises a melting crucible(10) which is formed in the lower part of a tap hole(11) and wherein the inside floor of the melting crucible is formed to be sloped to the opposite side of the tap hole downwards in order to discharge clean molten magnesium without impurity, a melting furnace(20) which heats up a magnesium scrap to be melted and maintains the molten magnesium in a constant temperature, a warming bath(30) which receives the molten magnesium in a clean state and maintain in a constant temperature, an ingot molding unit(40), and a molten metal conveying apparatus(50) which transfers a proper amount of the molten magnesium with controlling a reaction with air.
