PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device including the same are provided to uniformly offer whole light luminance and improve color uniformity. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(40) emits the light which is emitted from a light emitting device(80) and is inputted to the side to the upper. A reflection sheet(50) is arranged in the lower of the light guide plate. The reflection sheet reflects the light to the light guiding plate side. A prism unit(70) is located between the light emitting device and light guide plate. The prism unit uses a prism member including a concavo-convex phase of a three angles section. A guide unit is formed between the light emitting device and light guide plate. |
