A rolling element screw comprises a screw and a nut mounted on the screw. The screw and the nut are defined with opposite rolling grooves to form a loaded path in which plural rolling elements are to be disposed. The nut is provided with a return element at each of two opposite ends thereof for cooperating with the loaded path. The respective return elements include a return path, and the return paths of the two return elements connect with the loaded path to form a circulation path. The junction where the respective return paths of the return elements are connected to the loaded path is designed to be an inclined surface including a lower portion and an upper portion. There is a height difference between the nut rolling grooves and the respective return paths, so that the rolling elements can roll more smoothly without causing the jammed problem.
