<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type mobile terminal with a simple structure, capable of automatically covering an opening when being in an open state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The total length of the mobile terminal 1 can be elongated and shortened by the slide action of a display side housing 2 and a key side housing 3. The mobile terminal includes a spring 8 to be displaced in accordance with the slide action.
