A vehicle condition estimating device which can, even if the vehicle is running and without directly detecting loads acting on the axles of front and rear wheels, detect the position of the center of gravity of the vehicle in the front-rear direction, loads acting on the axles of the front and rear wheels, and cornering power. The device estimates the position of the center of gravity of the vehicle in the front-rear direction based on the value of the weight of the vehicle, the value of a stability factor, a relationship between a front axle load and front wheel cornering power, and a relationship between a rear axle load and rear wheel cornering power. |
