PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rec review of data recorded by an external apparatus. SOLUTION: A video camera 100 issues, to an AVHDD 200, a request command to request data for a certain period just before a recording stop point to be recorded in an HDD 16 in response to an operation by a rec review button 7.
