PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shock absorber preventing the occurrence of impression in the raceway portion of a ball screw. SOLUTION: A motor rotor 3 includes: a ball screw nut 7 screwed around the raceway groove 5a of a screw shaft 5 through balls 6; a cylindrical magnet 8 fixed on the periphery of the ball screw nut 7; and cylindrical projecting portions 9, 10 respectively extending axially outward from the end surface of the ball screw nut 7.
