PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical vibration isolating device of fluid encapsulation type with an innovated structure capable of generating a vibration isolating effect efficiently to any of a plurality of sorts of vibrations having different input directions and accomplishing vibration isolating characteristics in an intended direction perpendicular to the shaft owing to different spring stiffness. SOLUTION: First fluid chambers 46a and 46b are positioned in pairs oppositely in the radial direction with an inner shaft member 12 therebetween, while second fluid chambers 48a and 48b are positioned in pairs oppositely in the radial direction perpendicularly intersecting the opposing direction of the first fluid chambers 46a and 46b. Bulkheads 34 partitioning the first fluid chambers 46 from the second fluid chambers 48 in the circumferential direction are extended in the direction near the opposing direction of the first fluid chambers 46a and 46b, whereby the spring stiffness generated by the bulkheads 34 at vibration input in the opposing direction of the first fluid chambers 46a and 46b is made greater than the spring stiffness generated by the bulkheads 34 at vibration input in the opposing direction of the second fluid chambers 48a and 48b.
