PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring and control system adaptable to various input signals. SOLUTION: An interface circuit 300 includes: rectification means 331, 332 for rectifying a signal applied between input terminals 301 and 302; a constant voltage means 343 for dropping an output signal from the rectification means 331, 332 to a constant voltage; and detection means 351, 352, 361 for detecting the signal dropped into the constant voltage by the constant voltage means 343 and transferring the signal to a control circuit.
