<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device capable of avoiding situations in which a conductive contact fitted to the device crushes or buckles a conductive contact at a receptacle connector side, at plug-in connection to the receptacle connector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connector device is provided with an insulation housing 12 forming an insertion-coupling convex part 14 inserted into an insertion-coupling concave part 34 fitted to the receptacle connector 31, a conductive contact in contact connection with a receptacle connector side conductive contact fitted to the insertion-coupling concave part 34 when the insertion-coupling convex part 14 is inserted into the insertion-coupling concave part 34, and a metallic cover 13 partially covering an outer face part of the insulation housing 12. The metallic cover 13 is provided with a guide part 13b carrying out insertion guide of the insertion-coupling convex part 14 toward the insertion-coupling concave part 34 in contact with an insertion-coupling concave forming part of the receptacle connector 31 at insertion of the insertion-coupling convex part 14 into the insertion-coupling concave part 34.
