PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound display device and a camera for simply shooting photographs of a pet that caters to everyone, by providing variation to a monotonous pet photograph. SOLUTION: This camera 10 acquires sound, uttered by a user by a rear sound acquisition part 16 and acquires sound uttered by a pet being an object by a front sound acquiring part 15. A signal processing and control part 11 determines a display content, in accordance with the sound acquired by the front sound acquisition part 15 and the rear sound acquisition part 16.
