A floor pump comprises a base means; a cylinder means having a first end coupled to the base means and a second end, with a cross-sectional area of the first end of the cylinder means larger than the second end of the cylinder means; a linkage means partially disposed in the cylinder means and communicating with the base means; and a hose having a first end, which is coupled to the base means and communicating with the linkage means, and a second end coupled to a thing desired to be inflated.
