PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of fully compensating irreversible capacity by increasing a contact area between lithium powder and an anode.

SOLUTION: The anode for a lithium-ion secondary battery includes a collector, and an anode active material layer containing an anode active material formed on the surface of the collector. Secondary particles made of insulating particles bonded on the surface of the lithium particles are on the surface of the anode active material layer.
