PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy interchange of a wire rope for an on-vehicle crane. SOLUTION: The wire rope 1 with a definite length in a round bundle under a condition that twist is removed, is stored in a packaging case 10 made of a corrugated fiberboard sheet. A cutting line 17 for forming a rope drawing-out opening 21 is formed on either one of a bottom 11 for supporting the wire rope 1 in the packaging case 10 or a lid opposing the bottom 11, and a cutting piece 18 is provided inside the cutting line 17. When the wire rope of the crane is interchanged, the cutting piece 18 is removed by cutting the cutting line 17 to form the rope drawing-out opening 21, and the end of the wire rope 1 is drawn out of the rope drawing-out opening 21 to perform interchanging of the wire rope.
