<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable armoring material, along with a cable using the same, the material suppressing biting of animals which are classified as rodents. <P>SOLUTION: The cable includes a cable body 10 where a cable armor 40 is formed around a cable core 20, and a dummy cable 50 arranged to adjoin the cable body 10.
