<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film solar battery module capable of suppressing damage of solar cells. <P>SOLUTION: This thin film solar battery module includes a substrate and a cell module including three or more cell strings each having a predetermined width. The cell strings are each equipped with a plurality of solar battery cells connected in series. The cell strings are provided so as to be aligned in a direction vertical to the direction where the solar cells are connected in series, and connected in parallel bidirectionally. The solar battery cells are each equipped with a front surface electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer and a rear surface electrode in this order. The cell strings are each equipped with a contact line for electrically connecting one surface electrode of the solar cells included in the cell strings and adjacent to the other rear electrode and having the width same as the width of the cell string.
