摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclide transformation device which enhances the reacting weight in nuclide transformation reaction by increasing the density of deuterium in a deuterium permeation section of a structure. SOLUTION: The nuclide transformation device includes a structure 21 containing palladium or palladium alloy or hydrogen absorbing metal other than palladium or hydrogen absorbing alloy other than palladium alloy, a deuterium high-pressure section 12 and a deuterium low-pressure section 11 laid out so as to sandwich the structure 21 from both its sides, a pressure raising means, a pressure reducing means, a specimen fixing jig 23 to fix the structure 21 by sandwiching it and a specimen stage 22. In the nuclide transformation device, the specimen stage 22 includes through-holes 24 which are covered with the structure 21 and enable deuterium to pass and a structure expansion suppression means for suppressing the expansion of the structure 21 in a plane direction is placed in at least one of the specimen fixing jig 23 and the specimen stage 22.
